Paul Stanley’s Soul Station To Share New Original Song ‘I, Oh I’ On March 5

Soul Station, the side-project of KISS frontman Paul Stanely, is set to release a brand-new song, called “I, Oh I,” on March 5.

“I, Oh I” was accidentally shared on YouTube on Friday, February 19, before being taken down, with Stanley apologizing for the mishap on Twitter.

“SORRY!! That SOUL STATION song wasn’t supposed to be released until March 5th!! Somebody put it up and I followed! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!!!!” Stanley tweeted.

“I’m a man, and I’m proud / I was wrong, now I’ll fight to get you back in my arms,” Stanely croons in one of the earlier verses; the song revolves around a young man who, upon having realized the error of his ways, is attempting to win back the love of his life, without whom he is lost, as he proclaims in the catchy chorus of the song.

The song is slated to feature on the band’s forthcoming album, Now And Then, which is scheduled for release on March 19. In addition to 5 original songs, of which “I, Oh I” is one, the new collection will also include a series of covers of Soul and R&B classics.

“Between us doing some great Soul Station shows and starting the album, I started to think that neither the band or the music we love should depend only on the past, so I started writing with the goal of seamlessly taking songs into the present,” the singer explained in a press release.
