Well, I’ve got one Covid19 vaccine in and another in a couple weeks. I just want to thank the OCHD for my experience. They are doing the vaccines at Four Square Church in Rhinelander. It’s incredibly organized. You sign up online. They day you are scheduled they check you in when you drive in. They give you a beeper and you sit in the car until the beeper goes off. Then you head in and they check you in to the building. You then sit in a chair by one of the table they are giving the vaccine. Only a couple minute wait inside. You get your shot and then go sit on the other side of the gym where you wait for 15 minutes in case of any reaction you may have. Incredible! As you sit in your vehicle and wait you tune your radio to 89.7 and listen to the instructions. Again, I cannot be more pleased as to the organization of the vaccine clinic. My thanks and congratulations to all involved. It does wonders for your psyche and NO the shot is not painful at all. Just a sore arm for me on the first round. Certainly no big deal. Their organization out there makes the entire experience perfect. Good luck to those of you that will be venturing in to your vaccines. There may just be light at the end of the tunnel for this year of hell for all of us.
