The Month of Gobble! ALREADY?

Hard to believe it’s just a few weeks shy of Thanksgiving! Although with our weather as of late you’d think it was Christmas!! Someone said the other day “what the hell do we have to be thankful for this year?” Well, I asked this person if they were infected at all with the Corona? The reply? “No”. Have you had anybody in your family that didn’t survive Corona? The reply? “No”. Did you lose your job? The reply? “No”. Now, I realize not everybody has those no answers and I feel terrible for them. The bottom line is that if we dig real deep there has to be something that we can find to be thankful for this year. Unfortunately, I will not be participating in a thanksgiving feast because of the Virus. We’ve all decided that it was (in our family) probably the best thing for us all. That is UNLESS there is a major turn around in the next few weeks. I will still be thankful for many things on that day although it will be the first time in all my years that I haven’t spent Thanksgiving with family and/or loved ones. I STILL will be thankful. We already have plans to have a Zoom Thanksgiving and that’s the way it will have to be. Thanks to technology we will at least have that. So dig deep, write a few things down and try to make this damn miserable situation we’re in be put on the back burner for a day and just look at the positive. Gobble Gobble.
