Half Time…just another excuse for people to debate something? Nope…didn’t have any impact on my Sunday at home. Nope…didn’t dwell on it. Nope…didn’t even bet one dime on what the first song would be. I DID watch it and it was sprinkled with lots of lights, dancing and glitter. Hearing that people were offended because it wasn’t family friendly? Really?? I don’t believe I saw anybody take their clothes off NOR even swear! Of course there are the “band wagon” folks that will go with the flow and agree with what the majority are posting. Those folks that want to ride the debate. NOT my cup of tea but I did watch to see how they would do. People don’t realize that the half time show is basically put on for the TV audience. AT the stadium you can barely see and/or hear what’s going on. This comes from a source (friend) that was at the game. About the lip sync issue I get that too. There’s a lot that can go wrong technically and they choose to not take any chances. Am I saying “Best half time ever”? NO! Again, not a fan of that genre. Did it offend me or did I think it stunk? Hell no! There was a lot that went in to it AND for the record…if I had to choose I take Shakira by a mile! Best voice, dancer and talent. That’s MY opinion. We’ll see who they get next year.
