Ok…I recently took my annual trek to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for business. In my travels there is a lot of dashboard time for sure. It’s a long ride. During that ride I couldn’t help but notice the people that pass me by while looking DOWN at their phones!! Going 75 miles an hour and just hoping like hell that the car is driving itself? Really people? Are you that crazy? Not to mention the people flying by me with the phone up to their ear having just a great conversation with whomever and not really paying attention. The SAME people that slam on their brakes because maybe they just noticed they need to stop!!! I AM guilty of answering the phone in the car BUT only on the bluetooth and keeping it very short. I need to watch out for the people that just don’t care and think they are smart enough and alert enough to let the car drive itself. PLEASE…watch what you’re doing. It could be someones entire family that is paying attention and innocently heading somewhere and get hit by one of those drivers that just doesn’t care.
