WHAT A WEEK!!!

WHAT A WEEK!!!

Well…it all started with the big storm on Tuesday Night.  13 inches measured here on my deck.  I had plans to travel to Madison area on Wednesday.  Got up Wednesday morning and things didn’t look good.  BUT I was determined that mother nature was NOT going to take my holiday with family away!  Even with the 5 foot mound at the end of the driveway I started in with the snow blower.  Wet, heavy snow and BANG!!!  A shear bolt gone from the impeller!  NOT GOOD.  Hello YouTube.  Got my model number of the snow blower and looked it up.  Sure as hell there were a few videos on what I needed to do!  I had spare bolts so here we go.  An hour and a half later…BINGO!  Started up and slowly finished the job.  Driveway all clear but road not looking good.  Well, to make a long story short…I showered, packed up the truck and took off.  All wheel drive and white knuckles on the wheel.  Slow going past Stevens Point and then it was just the wind.  I think I conquered all and made it for a great Thanksgiving.  Then, yesterday (Sunday December 1) I woke up and was hoping the storm missed us.  No such luck!  Another 10 inches and another snow blowing session at 2pm!  ALL in one week!!!  Plus, it’s only the beginning of December?  It gonna be a long damn winter.  Maybe we’ll be lucky and winter will be done in February?  I know I know…wake up Duff!!!  Happy Holidays.
