Thank You!

Thank You!

I’ve been doing this for so many years now.  I won’t share how many because that will date me BUT I can tell you that it’s been a few.  In all those years I’ve met MANY wonderful people.  Listeners can be very fickle.  Especially back in my Top40 years.  You play one song and the phone would ring.  They LOVED that song and appreciated me playing it.  Not a minute later someone would call and YELL that they are so sick of hearing this song so I should take it off immediately.  TOP40 was one of those that went 50/50 all the time.  I am totally honest when I say that in all the years I’ve done Classic Rock I can’t even count on one hand how many negative calls I’ve received.  Classic Rock listeners are passionate about the music.  My listeners have been SO kind all these years and it’s SO nice to interact on the phone, on live broadcasts, etc.  People will call up in the afternoon just to bullshit or maybe talk about a song I just played.  ALWAYS positive and always a great conversation.  When I do contests…99 percent of the folks that try on the phone will still say “Thank You” …even if they weren’t the correct caller.  Yes…I LOVE going on the air and love interacting with such great listeners.  This will hopefully be a never ending format.  The music is timeless and some of the best music of all time.  Thank you all again for your dedication and being the BEST listeners anywhere!

Brats and Cheese Curds

Brats and Cheese Curds

With this week having National Cheese Curd day in it I was wondering a few things.  First…National?  Do they celebrate cheese curds in other states like we do in Wisconsin?  Also, it seems another Wisconsin tradition, the bratwurst is expanding.  You hear more and more mention of those delicious tube steaks cropping up all over…read more »
