OK…So I’m a big baby! I HATE needles! For the last 5 years I’ve been getting allergy shots once per month. ONE in each arm. I get so stressed when I head off to the Dr. and I start to sweat when I sit down and then they SHOW ME THE TWO SHOTS to make sure that is my name! I’ve always been like this…ever since I was a little Duff! The needles on the allergy injections aren’t real big so my stress level is not real high. PLUS, I have been doing it for quite some time so even though I get stressed (scared) I am somewhat accustomed to it. NOW…I need to go get my flu shot for the season and let me STOP YOU RIGHT THERE if you’re thinking of counseling me on the YES and NO of flu shots. If I get one or not is actually up to me. What everyone else does? I salute you in your decision…it’s none of my bees wax. Anyway…the needle on that damn flu shot I swear is at the very least 10 inches long!!! Ok…maybe not quite that long. Anyway…my Doc tells me to get it and I trust him so I do. I’ll somehow suffer thru it. It’s not the shot so much as it is the waiting to get it. OK…I better get in and get it done…I’ll let you know if I fainted or not this year.
